Hi Sharen,

I just wanted to tell you how surprised I was to get your package in today's mail. Folks have asked me why I chose a breeder and you validate my answer with every interaction I have with you.

The magnet, the picture of Bella's family, the 10 commandments...I started to tear up! You really went above and beyond throughout this process - I didn't expect it!

I cannot tell you how much Bella means to us already. It truly is remarkable how we have fallen in love with her already, and we haven't even met her. We meet her in just over a week and the feelings I have in my heart remind me of the way I felt a week before my due-date! Haha!

Sharen, thank you a million times over!

(Cody is our first Cavalier from Bohshar K-9’s. He joined our family to help fill the void
left by the passing of our Blenheim, Toby. Cody lives with 3 seniors: a chubby, slightly deaf 9-
year-old ruby, Tanya, and two retired teachers, Pat and George.)
Cody’s First Report Card

Cody’s progress report at 11 months:
Math: Expert at counting to 3 (treats) and telling time : 7 am & 5 pm (meals)
Reading: Great at reading facial expressions, such as a smile (prompts vertical jump) or a frown
(triggers fast back pedaling)
Social: Enthusiastic welcoming skills; makes everyone feel special
Science: Exhibits exceptional proficiency at catching butterflies and other flying insects;
conducts tasting experiments
Home Ec: Dedicated dishwasher; poor at picking up toys (but good at stockpiling teacher’s shoes
in kennel); first-rate furniture re-arranger (eg. Tanya’s bed, with her in it).
Phys Ed: One-man circus. Excels at relay races (except occasional unwillingness to pass baton),
long distance laps (up to 13 per session) through house and around kitchen table; hide & seek;
high jump (leaps from chair to sofa to window ledge); and soccer, where student displays
Beckham-like skill during solo exhibition matches on deck.
Behaviour: Cody is the class clown; keeps everyone in stitches; makes funny faces with lips and
has been known to roll eyes. Vocalization is usually limited to big-boy barking at the coyotes
(often at 2 am), a woo-woo chortle of joy for his teacher and teacher’s aide, and a Pavarotti high
C serenade when inviting Tanya to play.
Attendance: 100%, never sick, never misses a meal
Greatest Talent: A+ Comforter Supreme. First responder 24/7 when anyone is sick or just wants
to cuddle.
Summary: Cody is a super smart, fast learner, but he’s not fulfilling his potential. With all his
many talents, he could excel at agility, obedience competition, tracking, and formal pet therapy.
The only thing holding him back is his teacher, who wants him all to herself.

Dear Sharen and Bob
(The Best Breeders Ever)

Since Bohshar K-9's is not your typical operation, we just had to do something special for you.
You set the bar high in the dog breeders world as you go above and beyond in everything you do.

We so appreciate your patience and tolerance for the many phone calls.  You are an endless source of information and the service you provide is second to none.  Visits were welcomed and we so looked forward to the weekly updates and pictures  of our new fur-baby.
Your professionalism and the immaculate conditions your dogs are kept under impressed us to no end.  It gave us full confidence that we were making the right choice    right breeder, right puppy, from the best possible place.
We cannot thank you enough for giving us the opportunity to adopt our little furever friend Tucker.
We promise to provide a loving home, rest assured.
Ray and Arlene

Getting our cavies was the best decision we ever made! Our oldest is Tyson and he turned 4 in September and Sharen and I have stayed in contact since we brought Tyson home,  She never hesitates to offer me advice, support and comfort when I worry about our fur babies and has always been a great support and advocate for our fur babies. After a year of having only Tyson I knew we needed another one, and here came our little Clarence. Our fur babies are now awaiting the arrival of their new twin siblings that will be here in the Spring

My daughter Tessa had been researching dogs for 2 years as she really wanted a puppy. After listening to her, she sold me on the idea. I told my husband we were getting a dog and asked which breed he would like, his
response the King Charles Cavalier. After looking at the different breeders, I loved Sharen's knowledge on the phone and could hear the passion she had for the breed. My husband and I spent  several hours playing with
the puppies but it was love at first site. I wanted to take them all home. We decided to take the plunge and got Pebbles. The timing was perfect as we decided to give our puppy to our daughter for Christmas. Sharen provided lots of pictures and a leash for us to give to our daughter on Christmas morning. I have never seen such excitement. We picked up Pebbles on January 1, 2011 and she quickly became a member of our family.
She is a little lady and loves all of us and provides  us with lots of kisses and tail wagging. She was so easy to train and can be taken anywhere. Sharen has been there to answer all my questions along the way and I would recommend them highly. This little puppy has melted all our hearts. Thanks Sharen and Bob.

We had made the decision to make an addition to the family and while researching the breeders in the area we happened across Bob and Sharen’s web site. We contacted Sharen by email and was pleasantly surprised when she responded the same evening. Once she found out that we were seriously interested in choosing a puppy from the litter she removed all three of the available puppies off of her web site. We had made arrangements to go and look at them and when we arrived we were greeted by a group of hellos from many happy faces. When both Sharen and Bob took us to the dog run we were amazed by the clean and comfortable area that the dogs were housed in. We were allowed to say hello to the entire group and the dogs were all happy, clean and well behaved. Once they said hello Mom, (Sharen) escorted them back to their pens and waited for the next chance to say hello to us.

Sharen and Bob’s whole manner was one of people looking out for the well being of their children. They answered all of our questions and made it well known that they were available to answer any questions or concerns that we may have. We made arrangements for us to visit when the puppies were old enough for us to handle them. When we arrived they had the puppies in the house and ready for us to get to know them. We were offered coffee and a bite to eat as if we were neighbours or family. Each Sunday after we chose our boys Sharen sent us pictures of them, we received between 10 and 15 every week with an update on their weight, character and any interesting news. Sharen’s pictures were the quality of a professional and you could tell that
she spent a lot of time taking them.

The next time we went to Bob and Sharen’s was the day we brought our new family members home. As before the puppies were in the house waiting for us, we did the required documentation and then we spent time visiting with them again. We had pictures with Mom and Dad and then with new Mom and Dad.  The whole process was one of comfort and the care of a caring person who just happens to breed puppies. If anyone asks where we got the boys I proudly say Bohshar K-9’s and give them a synopsis of our experience.

We have always loved dogs but never had the time to fully devote to one.  We decided in our retirement we would really enjoy a dog to keep us company and to have as a walking partner.  We spend our winters in Arizona so we needed a dog that would be easy to travel with.  We met a fellow down the street from our house
who had an older Cavalier and he spoke very highly of his friend.  He couldn’t say enough about his good behaviour and what an excellent companion he was.  We started to research the breed on the internet and came across Bohshar K-9’s website. We sent an email to Sharen and were very surprised to get an immediate response.  Soon arrangements were made to go to the kennel for a visit.  Well we all know that you can’t go to a kennel without falling head over heels for all the puppies.  We selected our friend Buddy.  However, we still weren’t retired. We had a couple of months to go and didn’t feel comfortable taking a puppy home at that point.  Sharen offered to board Buddy for us until we were ready to take him home.On our next visit, over a wonderful cup of coffee, Sharen suggested that Cavaliers are like potato chips, “you can’t have just one”.  She introduced us to Rambo and then we had to decide if we wanted two.  Well of course we did!  Rambo and Buddy became fast friends.  They stayed with Sharen and Bob in their home where they were house trained and leash trained.  We also introduced a crate for them to sleep in.  They remained there for two months so were roughly five months old when we took them home.  Rambo and Buddy adapted very easily to our home.  They are very close friends and play together a lot.  With
the daily walks and the additional play times they have together they are very well adjusted, happy little guys.  We can’t say enough about the breeding quality of Bohshar K-9 pups.  Our vet has given a 100% healthy valuation for both pups.  Our neighbours frequently stop to visit them and marvel at our wonderful boys.  Bob and Sharen are very informative about the breed and endeavour to keep in touch with each and every one who adopts their pups.We highly recommend Bohshar K-9 if you decide that a Cavalier is the dog for you.

We must say that we are beyond the moon with our two pups, Sophie and Elvis.  Within minutes of setting eyes deeper love with them. Our decision in having two of them was one of the best decisions we made for the well-being of us and the pups. Sophie and Elvis are inseparable (even may be described as "partners in crime" :P) and they both know how to tug at your heart strings. They are extremely quick learners and very easy to train.
Within a week we taught them to sit and fetch. They love to be cuddled and to be honest, we love cuddling with them on the couch or on the floor next to their beds. They are so affectionate and very gentle when they paw. Luckily for us, they only bark when they are playing with each other and never towards us or any other person or dog.

Sharen, and Bob, have been so great and helpful in us getting our two newest members of our family and we feel we owe them so much! We were so impressed with the service and friendship from Sharen and when you include all the comments from our friends and family on how adorable our pups are, we will never hesitate to recommend Bohshar K-9. The pups were very healthy and the kennel was spotless which reassured us that we made the right decision in getting our pups from Sharen.

Thank you so much Sharen and Bob!!

I wanted to write you to thank-you for Beau.  He is perfect.  We couldn’t be more pleased with him.  He is affectionate, intelligent, playful and of course gentle with everyone (in particular my daughter Ariella and her friends).  He is the perfect companion for us.  We take him practically everywhere with us; the mall, the doctor’s office, a continuing care facility.  He even sleeps in the bed with us.  As promised, he is great in the car.  People who meet him can’t get over how good he is.  I have a leash, but seldom use it; he is quiet as a mouse and great with everyone; most importantly patient with kids.  As with many of the others who have given testimonials, I too highly recommend you.  Finding Bohshar K-9 was the best thing ever to complete our family.  Sharen made every part of the process easy and painless, and the result, the perfect puppy for our family.

Thank-you,
Natasha and Michael

If you are looking for a healthy, sweet-tempered puppy that has been bred to be the perfect companion dog, the Cavalier is quite likely a good choice.  If you have been searching for a knowledgeable breeder whose priorities are bringing out the best qualities of the breed and is able to help you with the entire process (before and after) then you have found her.  If you are concerned about the environment from which your new puppy will come from, visit Bohshar K-9 and you will find an immaculately clean kennel full of happy, healthy, well-adjusted, quiet dogs. (Yes – they hardly ever bark !)

We are so pleased with our new puppy Charlie.  He has found a place in our hearts already.  He is everything that Sharen advised us he would be: affectionate, playful, intelligent and sweet.  He is calm and well mannered, even as we have introduced him to the entire family – grandchildren included.   It is with great pleasure and absolutely no qualms that we give our highest recommendation to Sharen & Bob, their kennel and their beautiful dogs.

I am so pleased to have found Boshar K9s and, through Sharen, our wonderful Daisy Mae.  I spoke to Sharen
several times by phone with questions about Cavaliers and she was very helpful and informative.  I had already
fallen in love with Daisy after seeing her picture on Boshar’s website and Sharen sent me e-mails of all of the available puppies.   I was delighted when I arrived at Boshar’s to find a yard full of beautiful, well groomed, happy dogs and totally amazed that there was so little noise.  Apparently, Cavaliers aren’t very talkative dogs – in fact the only time I’ve heard Daisy bark is when she and my cat are playing tag!  It seems that one bark per game is required.  Sharen and Bob introduced me to a number of their pups and older dogs and then took me into their home to meet Daisy (and several more of her cohorts).  What a joy!  She was so loving and friendly that one would have thought she’d known me all of her short life.  I signed a very clear and easily understood sale contract over a
cup of tea and received Daisy’s records of her vet check, vaccinations and de-wormings.  It’s a nearly 500 km drive from Sharen and Bob’s to my home but Daisy is a wonderful traveler and was never sick or whiny but simply happy to be with me.  I’ve kept in touch with Sharen by e-mail and phone.  Daisy is thriving, wonderful with my granddaughter and her friends and my constant companion.  She is such a good puppy that I’m able to take her to work with me and
everyone who has met her adores her and wants one just like her.  After her post purchase vet check my vet asked where she came from stating “This is a very good breeder”.  -  My sentiments exactly.

Sharen and Bob are terrific folks and my only regret is that I couldn't take an entire carload of puppies home with me!

From the moment I met Chloe I knew I was in trouble. Those big brown eyes will get her everything her heart desires!...My entire world changed the moment I discovered Bohshar K-9’s. It was really just for information about the beautiful dogs I had just learned about. Sharen, the owner of Bohshar K-9’s had all the information I needed about the Cavalier King Charles breed. I could tell right away that she had a passion for the dogs that was inspiring. Sharen was never trying to sell me on her puppies; her goal was to help me make a fully informed decision.

Shortly after I contacted Bohshar K-9’s Chloe was born and I knew she was for me. Sharen sent me photos of her every Sunday so that I could watch her grow and change into an adorable little puppy! I received weekly reports on her development and continuing support from Sharen. Chloe is my first puppy and so I was asking questions everyday…Thanks again Sharen for being so patient!  Chloe has been a perfect addition to my life. She is so smart and incredibly sweet. I have very young nephews that are less than gentle with her but she loves the attention regardless! She attacks them back with kisses! She came to well socialized and at the right time. She has never shown a single sign of separation anxiety from her Mother or siblings… she was as ready for me as I was for her!

Sharen still keeps in contact with me, and is a great support for us. I look forward to many more years and possibly a few more puppies!

We recently purchased our beautiful new Cavalier puppy  from Bohshar K-9's, he is a  healthy, affectionate, well socialized little bundle of enjoyment that we love dearly.  Sharen, the owner of Bohshar K-9's, made the whole process of buying our puppy a pleasant, stress free experience.  In my opinion anyone who is looking for an exceptional breeder of quality dogs need look no further.  Of all the dog breeders I have ever dealt with none have come close to providing the service I received here.  Sharen keeps in touch regularly, to make sure everything is going well with our puppy, and is always willing to offer advice when I have any questions or concerns. I not only found an exceptional breeder who genuinely cares about her dogs, I also met some
amazing people I'm proud to call my friends.

Porsha and Ruby arrived safe and sound to Nova Scotia! They are soooooooo beautiful!!!!They are cuter in person then in the pictures.   They are cuddly  especially Porsha. They were timid at first but did not take long before their little tails were wagging and they started to lick and play.  They were great with my niece and nephew (6 and 4).  We are so glad we went with yours no comparison to the others...much more then what we had expected.

Thank you so much to both of you!!! Will stay in touch periodically.  Cheers,
Craig and Christine
