Hi Bob and Sharen.. I hope all is well .. just thought I’d send you the latest photo of Stanley… He’s 5 today. We love him so much. He’s a sweet cuddly little monkey. Always into something. Loves stealing tissues out of the bins..He’s a big boy now weighing 12 kg. The vet says he’s just a big boy not fat.. so much for a toy dog. Lol. Take care Jayne

Hi Sharon, I wanted to say hello and give you a Rocky update on his first birthday. He is such a joy to all of us, and a bit of a rascal too. (we will keep working on that) It feels like we've loved him for a million years already. Please give a squeeze to his mom and dad, adopted mom and sister for us. At the moment he is sleeping on my lap. He is a great lap sitter, sleeper and also is quite fine being carried around. He loves being in the backyard and tries to lure us to go sit outside with him while he catches bugs. He has spent hours out there this summer, and we bring him in when he is exhausted, our clue to this is he starts barking at things. He loves his stuffy toys, loves to play fetch and tug a war. Our backyard is a bit of a stuffy graveyard and we bring them in for a wash through the laundry every so often. (only when Rocky is not looking as he gets upset to see them in the washer) He can also be adventurous and easy going! He travels well in the car, or in a carrier when needed in buildings, and he also rides in a buddy seat on Mom's bike, or on the kayak or paddleboard. He seems to be very trusting and easy going in most situations. On his walks he loves to select a stick to bring home. He usually just wants to turn straight home once he has his prize. He makes everyone laugh along the path with his happy prancing and stick in his mouth. Sometimes the sticks are longer than him, other times they are short and look like he is smoking a cigar. He really loves all his people and gosh we couldn't love him more. Thank you so much for this lovely pup, we are so blessed. Chantel and family |

Hello! I just wanted to write to let you know how thankful we are for Franklin. He is such a good puppy! You guys gave him an amazing start. He is doing great with the pee pads, going outside, riding in the vehicle, and sleeping at night! He is loving his cat siblings, most of which come over and sniff him, but other than that walk away, one of the cats love love loves him, and often cleans him ❤️. Here is a picture I snapped of him today. |

Just wanted to write an email and give you an update on Sheldon. He is the most active puppy we have ever had and absolutely crazy for outdoor adventures! He mountain bikes with us, kayaks, hikes, camps and exploring nature any chance he gets. He absolutely loves water and doesn’t care how cold the water is. He is the perfect best friend for our doberman and blended right into our lives. He is the best door greeter at our print shop and loves everyone he meets and always has to make new friends. He can definitely be an active pup or hang out and chill with cuddles. We are so happy we purchased from you and can tell his breeding was very well planned & thought out. He has the most wonderful temperament and been a great addition to our family. We very much are looking forward to loads of more adventures with him and teaching him life’s adventures. He is extremely easy to groom, trim his nails and bath and dry. He is on the smaller side at around 10 pounds and doesn’t ever want to miss the chance at being left behind. His dog sitter always says how wonderful he is and what a good boy he was. He’s the perfect match to our daughter and loves to explore with her and sleeps right on her pillow every night. Please enjoy some photos of Sheldon on his life’s adventures & time together with us so far. Thank you again, The Jones Family |

I have decided to call Midnight, Gracie Midnight. She has been adjusting well and is slowly warming up to my dad. We plan to start obedience classes in the next couple of weeks She has been walking in her new harness quite well…but all of the city noises can be scary. I think we have managed a pee routine, so she hasn’t had any accidents inside. We have also been venturing out to some of the dog stores to help with socialization.
At one of the dog store we ran into a couple who also had a cavalier from you as well. They didn’t have their Cavalier with them, but they got her about 4 years ago. Small world. Gracie is the most lovely dog and I am enjoying getting to know her. And thank you for teaching her to fetch, as we have been having a lot of fun with that activity. I have attached some pictures. |

Hey Sharen! Just wanted you drop you a line to let you know Roger is going for his neuter appointment on June 20. He is such a blessing for our family. We can't believe what a good little dog he is. My wife went from "he's your dog, you take care of him" to "well, maybe we need another one", pretty quickly. We will likely be looking for a tricolor next spring. Anyhow, hope you are doing well. |
Hi Sharen, MAY 11, 2023
I was going to send you pictures yesterday but then didn't finish the email. Daisy is doing great and she is so sweet. She had a pretty busy first day and slept very very well. Then got up just before 6:30 to go potty. She's very good with the kids and meeting new people. Seems to have settled in just fine. Likes coming for rides in the car with us. We've met a few vaccinated dogs we know and she's done well with that too and met a lot of girls at gymnastics last night and is friendly with everyone. One of the Dad's there wanted your contact info which I will pass along as he loves Cavaliers and is considering getting one too. Daisy has been very consistent going potty in her penned area at the back of our yard. She's had a few accidents but actually not many. And has done well in her crate. She woke up in the middle of the night last night and I took her out and she cried a bit going back to sleep but we didn't tire her out as much last night. She doesn't seem to love her harness and I may get a mesh one to try out. She doesn't love been left in her pen when we are also walking around on that floor but has been good at exploring out of her pen too so might not use it for that long. We are all in love and very happy. She is a very sweet and curious and friendly girl. My cats don't quite know what to make of her but mostly they watch her and keep their distance for now but are investigating each other both at a bit closer range now. Thanks! Emeline |

Hi Sharen, Hope all is well. Sending along a photo of the boys, so you could see how they’re progressing. They’re doing great and are turning into handsome young dogs. I often get to show pictures of them to Apple customers when we do iPhone photo demonstrations in-store. Take care, Eddie |
Hi Sharen! MAY 6, 2023
Just sending you an email update on Ludo. We met with Chilli and Gail and that was lovely. Ludo and Chilli did fabulously together. He’s obsessed with birds which I understand is common for his breed. He also loves to chase leaves haha ??? He enjoys playing fetch and his rope toy is his favourite toy. He doesn’t like the rubber chew toys so much, except his king which he likes to chase but not to chew. He much prefers wet food to dry food and he loves little bits of carrots, cucumber, and banana as occasional treats. He knows lots of tricks and is learning how to walk without pulling on the leash hard. I am hoping to do some formal puppy school with him this summer, if I can afford it. He’s always happy and bouncy, no matter what, and he likes being at school but loves the weekends home with me best. I have a friend and fellow teacher who lives 2 blocks from the school so I’ve been leaving him there some days for a few hours to give him breaks from school as the weather has warmed so the kids are high energy right now. He’s my best friend and I talk to him like he’s a human haha. He is obsessed with my friend’s dog, Sadie, the golden labradoodle in the picture. He whimpers and follows her everywhere when they are together. She is rather indifferent I’m afraid lol. |
Hi Sharen, MAY 3, 2023
Just a quick note to let you know how Cody is doing and to say thank you for such a great puppy! I am writing this as I wait for my daughter Audrey to finish one of her therapy sessions, and Cody is in there with her. His presence transforms her and really brings her out of herself and allows the therapy sessions to be much more effective. He has been such an amazing addition to her life (and all of ours, but especially her). He drives to school with her everyday and is there at pickup to greet her. I can see the weight and anxiety of the day lift off her body when she sees his little wagging body waiting eagerly outside for her. He snuggles into bed with her every night (to be taken away later so he can sleep in a kennel, since house training is ongoing), and leaps up onto her bed and wakes her up with ecstatic licking every morning. Getting her out of bed has gotten 1000% easier since he came along. You were very right in your assessment that a timid dog would not have been a good fit for us. Cody is so outgoing, which is great because he comes to most places with us, and often it is loud and chaotic and there are lots of kids, and he takes it all in a stride. He doesn't flinch at the vacuum, the blender, the doorbell, the kids fighting or Audrey having a meltdown. The other 2 kids are also in love with him and it has been a great exercise in responsibility and learning to care for a living creature that needs you. Thanks again for this little guy. He has made such a difference! Take care, Katherine |
